Elsevier has announced the launch of Open Access, online-only journal Internet Interventions. The journal is published in affiliation with the International Society for Research on Internet Interventions (ISRII) and the European Society for Research on Internet Interventions (ESRII).

Georgia Public Library Service to offer NoveList Select

The Georgia Public Library Service (GPLS) is helping library patrons find great books to read by offering NoveList Select, the catalog enrichment service from NoveList, a division of EBSCO Information Services. Readers will be able to see reading recommendations, series information and e-resource recommendations directly in the library catalog.

ACCUCOMS closes deals with Latin American Consortia on behalf of the Royal Society of Chemistry

ACCUCOMS has closed two important deals on behalf of the Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC) with two of the most important academic library consortia in Latin America. They are Argentinian CONICET (Consejo Nacional de Investigaciones Científicas y Técnicas), and the Mexican CONRICyT (Consorcio Nacional de Recursos de Informacíon Científica y Tecnológica).

Ithaka S+R/ARL web seminar video and Q&A on Strategies from Eight Digitized Special Collections is online

The Association of Research Libraries (ARL) and Ithaka S+R offered a free web seminar in January 2014, which brought together leaders of the eight cases profiled in the recent study funded by the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS), Searching for Sustainability: Strategies from Eight Digitized Special Collections. A video of the web seminar is now available on ARL's YouTube channel.

Tor Vergata University of Rome joins the Italian Alma Early Adopter programme

Ex Libris Group has announced that the Tor Vergata University of Rome is the first institution to join the Italian Alma Early Adopters' programme. Having committed to become early adopters earlier this year, Tor Vergata and three other institutions will work with Ex Libris on the localisation of the Alma library management service for the Italian market.
