Scope unveils enhanced content enrichment capabilities with ConSCIseTM version 1.4

Scope e-Knowledge Center (Scope), a leading provider of content enhancement and knowledge services, has announced the release of its ConSCIseTM 1.4, the latest version of the company's abstracting and metadata enrichment platform. In line with current content enrichment trends, the new ConSCIse version 1.4 focuses on delivering highly accurate descriptive metadata such as abstracts, keywords and subject terms to support enhanced discoverability and more accurate levels of contextual relevancy.

Elsevier and the Russian Foundation of Basic Research announce agreement to provide funding experts with access to Scopus

STM publisher Elsevier has reached an agreement with the Russian Foundation of Basic Research (RFBR) to provide its funding experts with access to Scopus, the largest abstract and citation database of peer-reviewed literature. Furthermore, an additional 50 RFBR research institutes will receive access to ScienceDirect, Elsevier's full-text platform for research literature.

Thomson Reuters pilots Web of Science Certification program at Russia's Saint Petersburg State University Scientific Library

The Intellectual Property & Science business of Thomson Reuters recently piloted the first-ever Web of Science Certification program at Russia's Saint Petersburg State University Scientific Library. Working in close collaboration, Thomson Reuters trained 15 members of the library's staff to become experts in the company's Web of Science, the premier web-based research platform for information in the sciences, social sciences, arts and humanities.

Knovel announces new partnerships with Taylor & Francis and five other publishers
