Wiley journals comply with new OA policies of UK funders

Publisher John Wiley & Sons, Inc. has announced that the majority of Wiley's journals in its open access publishing program now offers authors funded by The Wellcome Trust and Research Councils UK the opportunity to publish their articles under a Creative Commons Attribution CC BY license when paying an Article Publication Charge (APC). This will support authors in complying with funder requirements that came into place April 1, 2013.

Newly established Ural Regional Universities Consortium in Russia gains access to ScienceDirect and Scopus

STM publisher Elsevier has announced its official collaboration with the Ural Regional Universities Consortium by providing 11 universities in Russia's Ural region with access to ScienceDirect and Scopus throughout 2013. Access to ScienceDirect and Scopus is expected to help Ural scientists increase the quality of their research and share their work with the wider, global research community.

Project MUSE partners with HighWire Press
