EOCME extends collaboration with AcademicCME and ArcheMedX to re-launch ThrombosisClinic.com

Elsevier's Office of Continuing Medical Education (EOCME) has announced that it is extending its existing collaboration with AcademicCME and ArcheMedX to re-launch the ThrombosisClinic.com website. The ArcheMedX connected learning platform will power the new site to create a collaborative learning experience for interdisciplinary teams of clinicians.

John Wiley, Elsevier to sponsor APEC prize for ocean research

ARL applauds US Judiciary Committee action to reform privacy laws

The US Senate Judiciary Committee has taken another crucial step toward fixing outdated privacy laws by endorsing a bill proposed by Chairman Patrick Leahy. The bill includes vital reforms to give appropriate privacy protection to e-mail and cloud storage. ARL has applauded the bill.

Annual OCLC Research Library Partnership Roundtable scheduled for April 27

Library information provider OCLC Research has announced that its annual Library Partnership Roundtable will be held on April 27 at ARLIS/NA in Pasadena, CA. This meeting will provide an opportunity for staff from OCLC Research Library Partnership institutions to hear about and influence OCLC Research plans and priorities and to explore challenges that require collaborative solutions.
