NFAIS to hold webinar on new platforms for accessing published works

The NFAIS will hold a 90-minute webinar on January 18, 2013. The webinar will take a look at Labtiva's ReadCube, a free, cross-platform software application, and PubGet, reportedly the first search site to combine search, subscription authentication, rights management and article level access in one application.

Nature publishes survey result on researchers' attitudes towards lab safety

Nature Publishing Group has conducted an international survey of researchers' attitudes towards laboratory safety. Early results are reported in this week's issue of Nature. The survey was commissioned by the University of California Center for Laboratory Safety and BioRAFT, a web-based laboratory safety management system.

Kevin A. Roth named editor-in-chief of 'American Journal of Pathology'
