The move is part of the IET's mission to make engineering content available to as wide a global audience as possible. OUP acquired the publisher from Infinitas Learning, one of Europe's leading providers of products and services for teaching and learning, for an undisclosed sum. In the newly created position, Borghino will report to IPA Secretary General Jens Bammel and will be based at the IPA's headquarters in Geneva. He comes to the IPA from the Australian Publishers Association where he served as Manager of Industry Representation.
