Experimental & Molecular Medicine re-launches on nature.com

Scientific publisher Nature Publishing Group (NPG) has announced that Experimental & Molecular Medicine (EMM) has re-launched on nature.com as a fully open access title. Co-published by NPG and the Korean Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (KSBMB), EMM is devoted to publishing the latest and most important advances in genetic, molecular and cellular studies of human physiology and diseases.

Health Information Science and Systems publishes inaugural articles with BioMed Central

Health Information Science and Systems (HISS) has published its inaugural articles with open access publisher BioMed Central. HISS is a multidisciplinary journal that aims to use technologies in computer science to assist in disease diagnoses, treatment, prediction and monitoring through the modelling, design, development, visualisation, integration and management of health related information.

Cambridge University Press to publish ASTIN Bulletin in partnership with the International Actuarial Association

Academic publisher Cambridge University Press has announced that it will publish the ASTIN Bulletin from 2013, on behalf of the International Actuarial Association (IAA). OSA announces new editors-in-chief, unveils new contemporary cover designs for 2013

The Optical Society (OSA) recently announced new editors-in-chief for two of its journals and revealed the new branding of its highly-reputed subscription-based journals. The new brand, which is being rolled out across its five subscription journals, is consistent with the look of OSA's Express or open-access journals and gives each journal a contemporary appearance that augments the high-quality content that the optics and photonics community has come to expect from OSA.
