CAS announces the 2018 CAS SciFinder® Future Leaders

CAS, a division of the American Chemical Society, has announced the participants selected for the 2018 CAS SciFinder Future Leaders program. The international Ph.D. students and postdoctoral researchers will visit CAS headquarters this August to collaborate on new initiatives to support the scientific community, including CAS's innovative workflow solution, SciFindern.

Agreement between EBSCO Information Services and The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to benefit Iraqi researchers

Information services provider EBSCO Information Services (EBSCO) and The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research (MOHESR) have signed a cooperation agreement to license and index Iraqi Academic Scientific Journals for inclusion in EBSCO databases and to provide Iraqi researchers access to select EBSCO databases. This project is described to be one of the most important strategic initiatives adopted by the Research and Development Department of MOHESR in Iraq and under the patronage of its minister and professor, Dr. Abdul Razzaq Al-Issa.

The University of Kent chooses Kudos to broaden reach of its research outputs

Kudos, the award-winning service for maximising the reach and impact of research publications, has announced that the University of Kent is the latest institution to sign up for its dissemination management services. The University's Office for Scholarly Communication, which works closely with the institution's Research Services and Information Services, selected Kudos to help deliver on its objectives for broadening the reach of Kent's research outputs.

Bioscientifica launches new open-access journal - Vascular Biology

New F1000Research gateway to maximise 3Rs impact of NC3Rs-funded research

The recently launched NC3Rs Gateway is a new publication portal on the F1000Research publication platform dedicated to the 3Rs - replacement, refinement and reduction of animals in research, featuring methodology articles, reviews and source data. All articles will be published almost immediately and then undergo invited open peer review.
