The agreement, signed on behalf of the Ministry of Science and Education, provides more than 400 Kazakhstani academic and research institutions with access to Scopus and ensures continued access to ScienceDirect. NLM will undertake conservation of the original material to ensure its preservation for future generations. Atypon Systems, Inc. and EBSCO Online, Inc. have announced that Atypon has acquired the Metapress business from EBSCO Online, Inc., which has made the decision to discontinue the Metapress platform. Atypon and EBSCO will work together to transition Metapress clients to Atypon's Literatum platform.
