BioDesign Research is fourth journal to join AAAS's Science Partner Journal program

The American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) has announced the launch of the fourth journal in its Science Partner Journal program, BioDesign Research, published in affiliation with Nanjing Agricultural University (NAU). The journal will be distributed by AAAS in association with NAU, institutions that have partnered previously to publish the Science Partner Journal Plant Phenomics.

Loughborough University unveils new combined OA institutional and data repository powered by Figshare

Loughborough University has announced the launch of their new combined open access institutional and data repository, Loughborough University Research Repository, powered by Figshare. All institutional research outputs - from papers and theses to datasets and media - will be hosted in one place, providing a single location for all research outputs. The new repository is available on a custom domain at repository.lboro.ac.uk.

OpenAthens announces Access Lab 2020 conference

Identity and access management specialist OpenAthens has announced the details of its annual Access Lab conference which will take place on March 19, 2020 at America Square Conference Centre, London. With the theme of 'simplifying the future together', the conference will bring together experts from a wide range of sectors including education and research, healthcare, government, charity, publishing and commercial. Heading up the UK's library and information association, CILIP CEO, Nick Poole is confirmed as the opening keynote speaker.
