Springer Nature expands nanotechnology research solution with the inclusion of more than 22 million patents

A new module has now been added to the nanotechnology research database Nano, which was launched by Springer Nature in 2016. The patent module allows users to sort through over 22 million nano-related patents across all major jurisdictions and languages. This means that researchers can find patents from areas highly affected by nanotechnology, narrow their search by country, filing year and jurisdiction, and ultimately demonstrate the scientific and commercial value of their project and its anticipated impact. All researchers who currently have access to Nano will be able to use this new module.

Wiley and Campbell Collaboration announce publishing partnership

Publisher John Wiley and Sons Inc. and the Campbell Collaboration have announced that the Campbell Library has selected Wiley as its publishing partner beginning in 2019. Campbell is the pre-eminent international network publishing high quality, transparent, reliable and policy-relevant evidence syntheses and maps in the social sectors to promote positive social and economic change by enabling evidence-based policy and practice.

Info International announces series of events under the ConTech Live umbrella

American College of Cardiology to launch JACC: CardioOncology in September

The American College of Cardiology will launch JACC: CardioOncology in September 2019 to expand the JACC family of journals. Bonnie Ky will serve as Editor-in-Chief. JACC: CardioOncology will publish the most impactful original research and state-of-the-art review articles pertaining to this rapidly emerging field. The journal will consist of original articles related to basic, translational, and clinical investigations in cardio-oncology.

Frontiers and the University of Jyväskylä form OA publishing agreement

The University of Jyväskylä has established an institutional membership agreement for open access publishing with Frontiers. The Open Science Centre of University of Jyväskylä supports its researchers in making their research more widely available. As part of this support, University of Jyväskylä has entered an institutional agreement with Frontiers.
