Rick Anderson to chair plenary session at the ALPSP Conference The Association of Learned and Professional Society Publishers (ALPSP) has announced that Rick Anderson, Associate Dean for Scholarly Resources & Collections, Marriott Library, University of Utah, will chair a plenary session - Customers as Competitors – at the forthcoming ALPSP International Conference 2014. Following the success of a six-month pilot on Wiley Open Access titles in 2013, the service will be available for all journals by the end of July. The full extent of the peer review ring has been uncovered following a 14 month SAGE-led investigation, and centres on the strongly suspected misconduct of Peter Chen, formerly of National Pingtung University of Education, Taiwan (NPUE) and possibly other authors at this institution.
