The SCOAP3 repository is now open for the community to harvest content through OAI-PMH feeds. The SCOAP3 repository hosts Open Access articles published under the SCOAP3 initiative. The initiative has converted to Open Access the majority of the literature in High-Energy Physics through a partnership of libraries, publishers, funding agencies and the research community in 35 countries. Twenty Belgian libraries to add 2 million records to WorldCat |
Anet, a consortium of 20 Belgian academic and special libraries, including the University of Antwerp and the City of Antwerp Heritage Library, has signed an agreement with OCLC to add some 2 million records to WorldCat. Anet is the first library consortium from Belgium to load records into WorldCat, the set of databases that together comprise the most comprehensive global network of data about library collections and services. Brill's 2015 journal prices now available |
International scholarly publisher Brill has announced that its 2015 Journal Program now consists of 208 titles. The program includes 9 new journals, 1 take-over journal and 2 Editions Rodopi journals, a recent acquisition of Brill. Five of Brill's new 2015 journals are full Open Access. More

Library, Higher Education organisations file net neutrality comments with FCC |
The Association of Research Libraries (ARL), together with 10 other library and higher education groups, filed comments with the FCC on net neutrality. These comments largely expand on the points made in the Net Neutrality Principles jointly filed by library and higher education groups on July 10, going into greater detail and making specific suggestions to strengthen the proposals made in the FCC's Notice of Proposed Rulemaking.
