Wolters Kluwer Health releases ProVation Order Sets Essentials for small and critical access hospitals

Wolters Kluwer Health has announced the release of ProVation Order Sets Essentials, a package of 65 order set templates that address the needs of small and critical access hospitals (CAHs). Covering the most common diagnoses at small facilities, the new solution is designed to drive more efficient adoption of evidence-based order sets to help meet the evolving quality of care standards laid out by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, The Joint Commission and Det Norske Veritas Healthcare.

DynaMed collaborates with Guideline International Network to improve quality of healthcare

DynaMedTM from EBSCO Health is collaborating with the Guidelines International Network (G-I-N) to promote the development and dissemination of evidence-based guidelines in order to improve the quality of healthcare. The evidence-based clinical decision support tool DynaMed aims to provide the most useful information to healthcare professionals at the point of care while G-I-N promotes the creation of high quality clinical practice guidelines that foster safe and effective patient care.

SAGE and FABBS launch new journal - Policy Insights from the Behavioral & Brain Sciences

Academic publisher SAGE and the Federation of Associations in Behavioral & Brain Sciences (FABBS) have announced a new journal that addresses the interface between policy and research on behaviour, mind, and brain – Policy Insights from the Behavioral and Brain Sciences (PIBBS). The first issue of the annual journal will be published late 2014.

Platts acquires Eclipse Energy Group

Platts, a leading global energy, petrochemicals, metals and agriculture information provider, has acquired London-based Eclipse Energy Group, a privately owned provider of data and analysis on the European gas, power and global liquefied natural gas (LNG) markets. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
