Reed Business Information announces sale of majority stake in Reed Construction Data Reed Business Information (RBI) has announced the sale of a 51 percent stake in Reed Construction Data (RCD) to Warburg Pincus, and the sale of 100 percent of RSMeans to The Gordian Group, a portfolio company of Warburg Pincus. RSMeans will separate from RCD and fully merge with The Gordian Group. The articles, published across BioMed Central, and SpringerOpen are freely available and published under a Creative Commons (CC) license. Springer now has 417 open access journals publishing across all areas of science – 265 at BioMed Central and 152 at SpringerOpen. In addition, SpringerOpen recently published its 35th open access book.
