PharmaPendium adds new module to its clinical data resource

Elsevier has announced that PharmaPendium, a source of preclinical, clinical and post-market data, has added a new module to its content base, the Metabolizing Enzymes and Transporters Module. This is projected to give researchers a greater understanding of Drug-Drug Interactions and their potential adverse reactions.

Lippincott Williams & Wilkins content to be indexed on EBSCO Discovery Service

EBSCO and Wolters Kluwer Health have come to an agreement allowing metadata from WK Health's LWW journals on the Ovid institutional research platform to be added to EBSCO Discovery Service. This makes the WK Health journal portfolio on EDS with its Medknow journals accessible to users.

UpToDate ranked as most-used clinical decision support resource, says study in JMLA

Wolters Kluwer Health has announced that a study on the value of library and information services in patient care found UpToDate was the most used clinical decision support resource, second only to research studies. The study was published in the Journal of the Medical Library Association.
