The newly formed Research Analytics Customer Advisory Board comprises an esteemed group of university and funding leaders working with the Scientific & Scholarly Research business unit to provide counsel and direction on the evolution of the company's research analytics solution.

Thieme Medical Publishers to stop distributing Manson Publishing books

Scientific and medical publisher Thieme Medical Publishers, Inc. has announced that as of May 31, 2013, it will no longer be distributing the books of Manson Publishing. All parties who have purchased Manson titles from Thieme have until June 15, 2013 to return stock and to settle accounts with Thieme.

Library Copyright Alliance applauds introduction of Unlocking Technology Act

The Library Copyright Alliance (LCA) has applauded the introduction of H.R. 1892, the Unlocking Technology Act of 2013, in the US House of Representatives on May 9, 2013. The bill guarantees that legitimate uses of digital works and technologies will not run afoul of copyright law, even if they require breaking digital locks.
