Frankfurter Buchmesse launches Frankfurt Audio

The world of audiobooks, podcasts and smart speakers will be represented at this year's Frankfurter Buchmesse (October 16-20, 2019) with its own, newly created thematic area and programme: Frankfurt Audio. Frankfurt Audio comprises a new exhibition space located in Hall 3.1, which will include a new stage dedicated to audio-related topics – the Frankfurt Audio Stage. The Frankfurt Audio Summit, a half-day conference on October 17, rounds off the fair's professionals programme focussed on audio-related topics.

OhioLINK signs Wiley Open Access Account agreement

Publisher John Wiley and Sons, Inc. and OhioLINK, a library consortium serving 118 libraries and 89 Ohio colleges and universities, have announced the signing of a Wiley Open Access Account agreement. A Wiley Open Access Account will enable OhioLINK-affiliated researchers to use a central fund for Article Publication Charges (APC).

The selection of WorldShare Management Services (WMS) begins the Library's transition away from its legacy system to a cloud-based platform. Big Ten Academic Alliance in deal with Reprints Desk to provide document delivery for member libraries

Research Solutions, Inc., a pioneer in providing cloud-based workflow solutions for R&D driven organisations, has announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary Reprints Desk has entered into an agreement with the Big Ten Academic Alliance (BTAA) to streamline access to scholarly papers via Article Galaxy Scholar, Reprints Desk's academic collection. Headquartered in Champaign, Illinois, BTAA comprises the academic consortium of the universities in the Big Ten Conference plus the University of Chicago.
