AIP Publishing and the China Academy of Engineering Physics announce publishing partnership

AIP Publishing, a wholly owned not-for-profit subsidiary of the American Institute of Physics (AIP), has announced a new partnership with the Publishing Center of China Academy of Engineering Physics (CAEP), to publish Matter and Radiation at Extremes (MRE). MRE, a peer-reviewed Open Access journal, will launch on AIP Publishing's Scitation platform on January 1, 2019.

ACS names Dr. Lynne S. Taylor as new editor-in-chief of Molecular Pharmaceutics

The American Chemical Society (ACS) Division of Publications has named Dr. Lynne S. Taylor of the Purdue University College of Pharmacy as the next editor-in-chief of Molecular Pharmaceutics. Taylor will succeed Dr. Gordon L. Amidon of the University of Michigan College of Pharmacy in early 2019. Amidon has served as the journal's editor-in-chief since its inception in 2003.

Heteroatom Chemistry journal joins Wiley-Hindawi partnership

Hindawi has announced that the Heteroatom Chemistry journal will join the Wiley-Hindawi partnership. Authors will now have the benefit of having their articles free to read without subscription. The journal brings together a broad, interdisciplinary group of chemists who work with compounds containing main-group elements of groups 13 through 17 of the Periodic Table, and certain other related elements.

CLOCKSS formalises its Succession Plan to ensure perpetual preservation

CLOCKSS has announced that it has formalised its Succession Plan to ensure the enduring survival of the scholarly content it preserves. Four of CLOCKSS's twelve library nodes have agreed to continue to preserve the digital content that is preserved in CLOCKSS, if the organisation were to cease to exist.

GeoScienceWorld adds GeoArabia archive to its Earth science collection

GeoScienceWorld (GSW) has announced the addition of the journal GeoArabia archive (1996 – 2015) and special publications to its collection of Earth science research. A quarterly peer-reviewed journal covering petroleum geoscience in the Middle East, GeoArabia was published by Gulf Petrolink in Bahrain from 1996 to 2015.

CCC's Jill Shuman to share case study at KM World 2018
