The University of Hyogo selects SciFinder-n from CAS to accelerate scientific research and engineering education in Japan

CAS, a division of the American Chemical Society has announced a partnership with the University of Hyogo to provide SciFindern to its student population. SciFindern provides the most relevant scientific information across the expansive content collection from CAS. With SciFindern, reactions, substances and references can now be searched at the same time.

Elsevier launches Entellect, a cloud-based data platform designed to help life sciences companies

Elsevier, the information analytics business specialising in science and health, has announced the launch of Entellect, a new cloud-based data platform designed to help life sciences companies overcome the challenges of modern R&D by enriching and harmonising proprietary and external data and delivering it in an AI-ready environment. Entellect allows researchers to produce far more accurate predictive models across a range of pre- and post-market activities, including drug efficacy studies, risk-benefit analyses and pharmacovigilance activities.

The Society for Scholarly Publishing names Mary Beth Barilla as Program Director

The Society for Scholarly Publishing has named Mary Beth Barilla as the organisation's Program Director. The Program Director is a part-time position which works collaboratively with SSP's programming-focused committees, the Executive Director, and the Board, in setting strategic direction for development of all educational programming of the Society, including the annual meeting, seminars, webinars, regional events, and training activities.

Pensoft's Biodiversity Data Journal (BDJ) has been recognised as one of the high quality journals in its discipline by Clarivate Analytics. Frontiers and the Mid Sweden University form open access publishing agreement

Under the terms of the Sweden Open Access Publishing Framework Agreement, the Mid Sweden University (Mittuniversitetet) will cover Article Publishing Fees for eligible authors in any of the Frontiers journals. Eligible authors are corresponding authors of a given article who meet the funding criteria of the Mid Sweden University.
