Nature Index unveils first global science city ranking, Beijing is the top science city globally

The Nature Index 2018 Science Cities supplement, published in Nature, includes the first Nature Index global science city ranking. The ranking confirms dominance of China and the United States in research output. Beijing is the top science city globally, followed by New York, Boston, San Francisco and Baltimore.

SAGE Publishing set to publish the Ear, Nose, & Throat Journal

Academic publisher SAGE Publishing will publish the Ear, Nose & Throat Journal (ENT Journal), beginning 2019. The ENT Journal provides original, peer-reviewed clinical articles and case reports to its audience of ears, nose, and throat professionals, highlighting new scientific research and innovative approaches to treatment and case management.

Kerry-Anne Rye and Nicholas O. Davidson named new editors-in-chief of the Journal of Lipid Research

The American Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology has announced that Kerry-Anne Rye of the University of New South Wales Sydney, and Nicholas O. Davidson of Washington University in St. Louis will be the next editors-in-chief of the Journal of Lipid Research. Their joint five-year term as co-editors will begin January 1.
