Wiley Digital Archives and RGS-IBG partner to digitise millions of pages of unique primary source content

Publisher John Wiley and Sons Inc. has announced its newest Wiley Digital Archives partner, the Royal Geographical Society with the Institute of British Geographers (RGS-IBG). The partnership between Wiley and RGS-IBG, one of the world's largest and most active scholarly geographical societies, is a new endeavour in a continuing relationship that spans over 18 years and includes an extensive journals and books program.

SAGE Publishing unveils MentorSpace - a how-to hub for research methods

ISTIC- Taylor & Francis jointly established Research Lab to fund research projects focusing on areas of key importance to the Chinese research community

A jointly established Research Lab will provide a grant to finance research projects on a specific annual topic, focusing on areas of key importance to the Chinese research community and providing an opportunity to drive significant change on issues most affecting Chinese researchers. The first topic for 2019 is research integrity, a topic of key importance for many researchers globally. Trust and truth in science are universal values, and Taylor & Francis Group as a publisher and Institute of Scientific and Technological Information of China (ISTIC) as a research body both look to support and promote this.

The CLOCKSS Archive, the long-term preservation service for scholarly content, has announced its TRAC re-certification by the Center for Research Libraries, based on an updated Trusted Repository Archiving Checklist audit. With grades on a scale of 1 (lowest) to 5 (highest), CLOCKSS maintained its score of 5 for Technologies, Technical Infrastructure, Security.

Portico to rebuild its preservation infrastructure
