IOP Publishing expands journal portfolio with three new journals IOP Publishing, the publishing company of the Institute of Physics, has announced that the first content has been published in three new additions to its journal portfolio - Electronic Structure, JPhys Energy and Plasma Research Express. The three journals were launched to cater to the needs of specific research communities. The journal will join the BMC series as its first chemistry title. As BMC Chemistry, the journal will further strengthen the BMC series footprint in the physical sciences by publishing quality articles and by pushing the boundaries of open chemistry. With this move, the publisher seeks to ensure that their content will be secure and available into the future. Meanwhile, Plants continues to be listed in BIOSIS Previews. In the first two years of the project, OCLC partnered with the Association for Rural & Small Libraries (ARSL) to guide and support 15 small public libraries in 12 states as they applied principles of design thinking to create space for social, active learning at the library.
