Springer Nature publishes first Responsible Business report - Discover More

Springer Nature has launched its first Responsible Business report since the creation of the company through merger in 2015. The report, entitled Discover More, outlines how Springer Nature helps the communities it serves to advance discovery and learning and tracks the environmental and social impacts of its global operations. The report was commissioned as part of Springer Nature's commitments as a progressive publisher of academic, educational and professional content and services.

Omnicom Health Group acquires Elsevier's Pharma Communications business in Japan

Healthcare marketing and communication group Omnicom Health Group, part of Omnicom Group Inc., has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire the Pharma Communications business in Japan from Elsevier, part of RELX Group. The acquired business and employees will become part of a newly-named healthcare marketing communications agency, EMC K.K.

ProQuest has teamed with Cambridge University Press to provide libraries access to the Cambridge Core platform and content via the ProQuest OASIS® platform. Over 30,000 ebook titles across 36 subject areas from Cambridge University Press and other publishers will become available through the OASIS® selection and purchase system beginning March 27, 2018.

Kudos integration now possible for any manuscript submission or review system

Kudos, the award-winning platform for managing research dissemination, has announced the expansion of its service enabling publishers to incorporate a Kudos field into their manuscript submission system. Integrations with Allen Press' AllenTrack and Peer Track, Aries' Editorial Manager, Clarivate Analytics' ScholarOne, EJPress and MPSTrak mean that Kudos' publisher partners can now collect plain language summaries during manuscript submission or review, enabling authors to begin the process of explaining and sharing their research prior to publication.
