Springer Nature and VSNU renew open access publishing agreement

Springer Nature and the Association of Universities in the Netherlands (VSNU) have renewed their agreement to secure open access publishing for Dutch universities up to 2021. VSNU and Springer Nature together were the first to sign a hybrid open access agreement of this type in 2014.

Oxford University Press extends partnership with DeepDyve

DeepDyve and Oxford University Press (OUP) have announced that OUP has agreed to make over 400 journals available via DeepDyve's innovative scholarly journal rental platform. The collaboration follows a successful pilot program dating back to 2012 whereby OUP made a subset of its titles available via DeepDyve.

NoveList announces leadership changes

NoveList®, a division of EBSCO Information Services (EBSCO), has announced the retirement of NoveList Co-Founders Duncan Smith and Roger Rohweder. During their tenure with NoveList, Smith and Rohweder have helped empower librarians and connect communities through the readers' advisory solution. Danielle Borasky has accepted the position of Vice President and will take on leadership of NoveList.

Health Research Alliance launches new application powered by Figshare and Dimensions

The Health Research Alliance has launched a new application, HRA Open, powered by Figshare. HRA Open will allow HRA member-funded awardees to link their awards to their research outputs and deposit publications into PubMed Central. Awardee information is provided by HRA Reporter, HRA's awardee database, powered by Dimensions.
