Elsevier to publish British Journal of Anaesthesia and BJA Education

Elsevier, the information analytics business specialising in science and health, is now the new publisher of the British Journal of Anaesthesia (BJA) and its companion title BJA Education (BJA Ed), beginning in 2018. Both journals are official publications of The Royal College of Anaesthetists, The College of Anaesthetists of Ireland and The Hong Kong College of Anaesthesiologists, and are published by Elsevier on behalf of the charitable organisation, British Journal of Anaesthesia.

EBSCO Health and Santovia partner to enhance patient education resources

EBSCO Health, the provider of evidence-based clinical resource tools, and Santovia, an integrated, all-inclusive health engagement platform, have partnered to provide Santovia customers with multilingual patient education resources. Access to patient education resources available in the Patient Education Reference Center (PERC) are now available in 15 new languages for Santovia customers.

NEH and NLM renew partnership to collaborate on research, education, and career initiatives

The National Library of Medicine (NLM), the world's largest medical library and a component of the National Institutes of Health, and the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) have reaffirmed a partnership, originally established in 2012, to develop initiatives that explore the intersection of biomedical and humanities research. NEH Senior Deputy Chairman Jon Parrish Peede and NLM Director Patricia Flatley Brennan signed the memorandum of understanding extending the partnership agreement through 2021.
