 Springer membership of OASPA reinstated with immediate effect |
In a statement on the OASPA blog in April 2014, OASPA's Membership Committee made the decision to place Springer's membership under review as a result of concerns that were raised regarding the peer review policies of several of its conference proceedings. The Membership Committee is now of the view that Springer has taken appropriate steps to strengthen their peer review processes, and have therefore reinstated Springer as a full member of OASPA with immediate effect.

Paris-Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi has announced that its usage of resources has maintained a steady increase after two years of implementing EBSCO Discovery Service and SirsiDynix. When the university first looked at discovery services they considered many options but chose EDS and SirsiDynix to optimise and increase use of the library's collection— which includes 23 databases and 80,000 e-books.
