Wiley announces continued growth in titles with impact factor

Publisher John Wiley & Sons, Inc. has announced a continued increase in the proportion of its journal titles indexed in the 2014 release of Thomson Reuters Journal Citation Reports® (JCR). A total of 1,202 Wiley titles (approximately 70%) were indexed, up from 1,193 in the 2012 JCR, and including 13 titles which have been indexed for the first time.

Springer launches new book series – Neuroscience and Respiration

STM publisher Springer has announced the launch of a new book series entitled Neuroscience and Respiration, a subseries of Springer's renowned Advances in Experimental Medicine and Biology. The series will be edited by Dr. Mieczyslaw Pokorski of the Medical Research Center, Polish Academy of Sciences in Warsaw, Poland.

Karger launches 2015 prices for journals, collections and packages

International STM publisher Karger has launched its 2015 prices for journals, collections and packages. The journal program for 2015 consists of 106 biomedical journal titles, most of them in English language. The program includes 23 Open Access journals and 11 new titles. The Price List 2015 is available at www.karger.com/pricelists.

NAVIGATION, The Journal of The Institute of Navigation accepted for indexing by Thomson Reuters

The Institute of Navigation (ION) has announced that NAVIGATION, the Journal of The Institute of Navigation, has been accepted for indexing in several Thomson Reuters databases. Beginning with Volume 59 (2012), NAVIGATION will be indexed and abstracted in the Science Citation Index Expanded (also known as SciSearch® ); Journal Citation Reports/Science Edition; and Current Contents®/Engineering Computing and Technology.
