Elsevier publishes six new neuroscience books

STM publisher Elsevier has announced the publication of six new neuroscience books, including Quantitative MRI of the Spinal Cord by Julien Cohen-Adad and Claudia Wheeler-Kingshott. The books enhance Elsevier's strong neuroscience publishing program with added reference and translational content for students, clinicians and researchers, general medicine practitioners and radiologists.

STRIATUS/JBJS, Inc. announces initial publishers participating in the pilot phase of SocialCite

STRIATUS/JBJS, Inc., publisher of the Journal of Bone & Joint Surgery and its family of journals and educational offerings, has announced that The Rockefeller University Press, the Genetics Society of America, and the American Physiological Society are the initial publishers participating in the pilot phase of SocialCite, which runs through 2014. SocialCite is a new workflow tool that interacts with and improves the citation network by providing a new quality metric.

Wolters Kluwer Health's Ovid and LWW global Customer Support Team recognised as Top 25 Center of Excellence by BenchmarkPortal

Healthcare information provider Wolters Kluwer Health has announced that the Technical Services Customer Support team for its Ovid® and Lippincott Williams & Wilkins journals business has been designated a 2014 Top 25 Center of Excellence by BenchmarkPortal, in collaboration with the Center for Customer-Driven QualityTM, founded at Purdue University. The recognition comes in the Small Center category, which is for those service centers with less than 100 staff members.
