Elsevier publishes seven new cyber security books

STM publisher Elsevier has announced the publication of seven new cyber security books, including Introduction to Cyber-Warfare: A Multidisciplinary Approach and The Basics of Hacking and Penetration Testing: Ethical Hacking and Penetration Testing Made Easy. These and other related book titles will be available at DEF CON and Black Hat conferences in Las Vegas from Breakpoint, the official conference bookstore.

AIP Publishing joins Kudos as final pilot partner

Kudos, the new service that helps authors and institutions maximise the visibility of their publications, has announced a third and final partner for its pilot phase of research and development. AIP Publishing now joins the RSC and T&F in supporting Kudos' exploration of tools and services to increase discoverability and facilitate filtering of research articles.

Argentinean Bioengineering Society and IOP Publishing in deal to publish conference proceedings

IOP Publishing and the Argentinean Bioengineering Society (SABI) have signed an agreement to publish the conference proceedings from the Argentine Congress of Bioengineering and Clinical Engineering Conference VIII (SABI 2013) for the fourth time running. SABI have published their proceedings in IOP's Journal of Physics: Conference Series since 2007.

Ex Libris Alma promotes success at RMIT University

Library automation solutions provider Ex Libris Group has announced that RMIT University is in production with the Alma library management service from Ex Libris. In tandem with Ex Libris Primo, which RMIT implemented in 2012, Alma has replaced multiple systems, including the Library's Voyager ILS.
