Springer and CAPES in deal to provide over 400 institutions in Brazil with access to Springer content

STM publisher Springer and the Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior (CAPES) in Brazil have entered into a new five-year agreement. The deal provides students, researchers and professionals at more than 400 institutions access to Springer's content.

Thomson Reuters CompuMark unveils Trademark Analysis for iPad

Trademark searching and brand protection solutions provider Thomson Reuters CompuMark has announced the launch of Trademark Analysis, a software application (app) for the iPad. Trademark Analysis allows Thomson Reuters CompuMark SERION users to easily review, analyse, annotate and share Full Trademark Report search results from their iPads.

Dr Isabel Escobar named new Editor-in-Chief of the IDA Journal of Desalination and Water Reuse

Academic publisher Maney Publishing and the International Desalination Association (IDA) have announced the appointment of Dr Isabel C Escobar as the new Editor-in-Chief of the IDA Journal of Desalination and Water Reuse. She will succeed Dr Jim Birkett, who steps down this year after a long and dedicated service to the journal.
