STM publisher Elsevier has announced the launch of two new modules in Pure, Elsevier's research information management system. These modules are: Award Management and Research Intelligence. Pure is one of the latest additions to Elsevier's SciVal research management tools.

John Wiley & Sons appoints Dr. James Milne as Publishing Director, Physical Sciences

Publisher John Wiley & Sons, Inc. has announced that Dr. James Milne has been appointed to the position of Publishing Director, Physical Sciences. Dr. Milne will join the leadership team of the Research Communications group, part of Wiley's Global Research business from September 1.

ALPSP seeks new representative for representation on the Publishers Licensing Society Board of Directors

Association of Learned and Professional Society Publishers (ALPSP) is seeking an individual from a member organisation to represent the interests of all ALPSP members as a Director on the Board of the UK Publishers Licensing Society (PLS). The Board is made up of representatives from each of the three owners and ALPSP provides three representatives. One of the ALPSP representatives will complete his term and stand down at the end of 2013.
