Wiley, OpenStax College team up to create product for college biology

John Wiley & Sons, Inc. has announced a partnership with Rice University-based OpenStax College, which is considered a newcomer from the 'open education resources' movement. The partnership calls for Wiley to deliver content from OpenStax's two new biology textbooks via WileyPLUS with its online learning, practice and assessment resources.

University of Auckland selects Thomson Reuters Cortellis for Competitive Intelligence to advance biomedical research capabilities

Springer to publish the Journal of Analytical Science and Technology with the Korea Basic Science Institute

STM publisher Springer and the Korea Basic Science Institute (KBSI) are partnering to publish the Journal of Analytical Science and Technology (JAST). As a fully sponsored open access journal, it will be part of the SpringerOpen portfolio, available on SpringerLink (link.springer.com).

Wolters Kluwer Health and AALTCN partner to develop support solution for LTC nurses

Wolters Kluwer Health has announced a collaboration between Lippincott's Nursing Solutions and the American Association of Long Term Care Nursing (AALTCN) to develop a new point-of-care support solution for nurses working in nursing homes and other long-term care settings. The collaboration is creating a new category of the Lippincott's Nursing Procedures and Skills product designed to meet the needs of long-term care (LTC) nurses.

EBSCO Publishing has released Arab e-Marefa, an Arabic language full text database that offers hundreds of journals published by many of the Arab world's prestigious academic publishers. ebrary has announced a German-language e-book subscription database for academic libraries. The ebrary Deutsche Sammlung collection includes STM, humanities and arts disciplines.
