Taylor & Francis survey examines authors' attitudes to re-use of work

Taylor & Francis released the third press release on the themes and findings of the Open Access Survey. Respondents were asked how acceptable it was for their work to be re-used in various ways. Opinion from authors on overall re-use was fairly evenly distributed.

NISO publishes Recommended Practice on presentation and identification of e-journals

The National Information Standards Organization (NISO) has announced the publication of a new Recommended Practice: PIE-J: Presentation & Identification of E-Journals (NISO RP-16-2013). This Recommended Practice was developed to provide guidance on the presentation of e-journals to publishers and platform providers, as well as to solve some long-standing concerns of serials, collections, and electronic resources librarians.
