Utica College selects eBooks on EBSCOhost |
Electronic research databases provider EBSCO Publishing (EBSCO) has announced that Utica College has chosen eBooks on EBSCOhost to grow its e-book collection. The college was looking to expand its electronic collection and although they looked at other e-book vendors, the site's familiarity and positive experience with EBSCOhost databases as well the benefits of EBSCO's Patron Driven Acquisition (PDA) Program convinced Utica College that eBooks on EBSCOhost was the right fit. SISSA Medialab to offer full hybrid OA option on journals jointly owned with IOP Publishing |
Non-profit scientific publisher IOP Publishing (IOP) and SISSA Medialab have announced that they will be offering a full hybrid open access option on the journals jointly owned with IOP Publishing. With immediate effect, Journal of Statistical Mechanics: Theory and Experiment, Journal of Cosmology and Astroparticle Physics and Journal of Instrumentation will offer all authors the option to make their articles open access upon payment of an Article Processing Charge of £1400. Transitioning of ArchiveGrid database from subscription service to free service currently underway |
Library information provider OCLC Research has announced that work is currently underway to transition the ArchiveGrid database of archival collection descriptions from a subscription service to a free service on a new interface developed and managed by the organisation. A beta version of the new interface developed by OCLC Research is available at no charge at http://beta.worldcat.org/archivegrid/. More
