Lippincott Williams & Wilkins to publish Harvard Review of Psychiatry journal

Information services provider Wolters Kluwer Health (WK Health) and the Harvard Review of Psychiatry have announced an agreement to publish the journal effective with the January 2013 issue. Lippincott Williams & Wilkins (LWW), part of Wolters Kluwer Health, will be the journal's publisher of record.

UK government stands up for open access with £10 million funding boost

In line with the UK government's commitment to free and open access to publicly-funded research, Universities and Science Minister David Willetts recently announced a £10 million cash injection to the top 30 UK research-intensive institutions. The funding will aid the transition to open access and compliance with the new Research Council UK Open Access Policy.

The collections align with Common Core guidelines for Grades K-8 and Grades 9-12 in English Language Arts and Literacy, History/Social Studies, Science and Technical Subjects.

Platts acquires Kingsman SA, a provider of price information and analytics for the global sugar and biofuels markets

Energy and metals information provider Platts, a division of The McGraw-Hill Companies, Inc., has completed its acquisition of Kingsman SA, a privately-held, Switzerland-based provider of price information and analytics for the global sugar and biofuels markets. The acquisition, whose purchase price was not disclosed, was announced on October 11.
