The report outlines how Springer Nature, a publisher of open access research, publisher of Nature and parent of Macmillan Education, helps the research, education and professional communities it serves to advance discovery and learning, and sets out the steps it is taking to manage its own environmental and social impacts.

Concepts in Magnetic Resonance Part A & B join Wiley-Hindawi partnership

Hindawi has announced that a pair of journals, Concepts in Magnetic Resonance Part A and Concepts in Magnetic Resonance Part B, has joined the Wiley-Hindawi partnership. In joining this partnership, all accepted papers will be published Open Access. This will benefit authors and readers alike, as it means research published in these journals will be easier to find, read and share.

Royal Society of Chemistry and Hungarian consortium sign Read & Publish agreement

The Hungarian Electronic Information Service National Programme (EISZ) has signed an innovative Read & Publish licensing agreement with the Royal Society of Chemistry. The corresponding authors affiliated at consortium member institutions are now able to publish Open Access in hybrid Royal Society of Chemistry journals, as well as having access to read the full range of scientific content from these titles.

Academic and Research Libraries Acquisitions Consortium renews agreement with EBSCO's GOBI Library Solutions

The Academic and Research Libraries Acquisitions Consortium (ARLAC) has renewed its agreement for three years with GOBI® Library Solutions from EBSCO (GOBI Library Solutions) for the supply of books, with an extension to include electronic books and related services. ARLAC is composed of the State Library of Victoria, La Trobe University, RMIT University, Federation University Australia, Victoria University, Charles Darwin University, University of Tasmania and Flinders University.

Frontiers and Iowa State University form OA publishing agreement

The Iowa State University of Science and Technology (Iowa State) has established an institutional membership agreement for open access publishing with Frontiers. The Iowa State University of Science and Technology supports its researchers in making their research more widely available. Under the terms of this agreement, eligible authors from Iowa State University may publish in any Frontiers journal at no cost to the author.
