ASM International partners with Scope e-Knowledge Center for content enrichment initiative

ASM International (ASM), the world's largest and most established materials information society has chosen Scope e-Knowledge Center (Scope), an SPi Global Company, to transform its digital content. The comprehensive initiative leverages Scope's broad offering of enrichment services, including taxonomy/thesaurus development, deep domain indexing, metadata enrichment, abstract creation, and file conversion.

Library consortium and Thieme sign transformation agreement

The Thieme Group has signed a transformation agreement with ZB MED – Information Centre for Life Sciences, the Forschungszentrum Jülich, and thirteen additional specialist libraries. As part of an initial pilot project, authors at participating institutions will first be given the opportunity to publish original papers in Hormone and Metabolic Research, an international journal published by Thieme, on an open access basis at no extra cost.

The MIT Press and The Society for the Neurobiology of Language launch new OA journal - Neurobiology of Language

The MIT Press and The Society for the Neurobiology of Language have launched a new open access journal, Neurobiology of Language. The journal will publish interdisciplinary articles addressing the neurobiological basis of human speech and language. Steven L. Small, Dean of the School of Behavioral and Brain Sciences, University of Texas at Dallas (Professor Emeritus at the University of Chicago and the University of California) and Kate E. Watkins, Professor of Cognitive Neuroscience at the University of Oxford, will serve as Editors-in-Chief.

Frontiers in Water celebrates World Water Day with launch of five new sections

In commemoration of World Water Day, Frontiers in Water has officially launched with five sections examining urgent issues affecting water and its supply. Led by Professor Praveen Kumar, University of Illinois, Frontiers in Water will address Sustainable Development Goal 6 to ensure availability and sustainable management of water and sanitation for all.
