American Geophysical Union and Wiley partner to publish new OA journal

Publisher John Wiley & Sons, Inc. and the American Geophysical Union (AGU) have announced a partnership to publish the new open access peer-reviewed journal, Earth's Future. Dr. Guy Brasseur has been appointed to lead the launch of Earth's Future as its inaugural Editor-in-Chief.

AAMC and BMJ announce collaboration to create innovative online learning resources

The Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC) and BMJ have announced a collaboration to create innovative online learning resources that will support clinical teams and health systems in their transition to new payment models. The collaboration was conceived following the establishment of the Bundled Payments for Care Improvement (BPCI) initiative by the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Innovation (CMMI) in 2011.

IEEE-SA and European Patent Office renew MoU
