EBSCO Publishing's DynaMed chosen as primary point of care resource for NHS Scotland's Knowledge Network

Electronic research databases provider EBSCO Publishing (EBSCO) has announced that NHS Education for Scotland has selected DynaMed as its preferred point of care resource for all NHS Scotland staff and students. NHS Education's Knowledge Network had offered DynaMed, as well as other point of care resources, to its users but recently selected DynaMed as the primary point of care resource due to its comprehensive coverage and frequent and reliable updates.

e-Libro to make e-books discoverable via OCLC's WorldCat catalogue

E-Libro, a provider of Spanish language e-books delivered on the ebrary platform, has announced that all its e-books will soon be discoverable through OCLC's WorldCat, which is projected as the world's largest library catalogue. E-Libro has also signed its 150th publisher, Editorial Grupo Destiempos.

James du Preez named new joint Editor-in-Chief of Biotechnology for Biofuels

Open access publisher BioMed Central has announced the appointment of James du Preez of the University of the Free State, South Africa, as joint Editor-in-Chief of the journal, Biotechnology for Biofuels. He succeeds Bärbel Hahn-Hägerdal, who retired from her role at the end of June. James joins Mike Himmel, Debra Mohnen and Charles Wyman as joint Editor-in-Chief.
