Electronic research databases provider EBSCO Publishing (EBSCO) and the American Psychological Association (APA) have expanded their partnership to allow PsycTESTS to be available via EBSCOhost. The PsycTESTS database provides descriptive summaries, full text and relevant citations on the development and assessment of tests and measures that can be used in research and teaching.

OCLC has signed new agreements with publishers and has added a list of new collections to WorldCat Local, its discovery service. The content providers are expected to add valuable new collections including some searchable full text to WorldCat Local, WorldCat.org and OCLC WorldShare Management Services.

eLife calls for submissions for its new OA journal |
eLife, the new funder-researcher collaboration in science communication, has announced that it is currently accepting submissions for its new journal. The open-access 'eLife' journal will be the keystone in the initiative's efforts to lead change in scientific publishing. The 'eLife' journal is set for launch at the end of 2012.
