STM welcomes Finch Report on expanding access to research publications in UK

The International Association of Scientific, Technical and Medical Publishers (STM) has welcomed the package of measures recommended by the Finch Group on expanding access to research publications in the UK. The measures are set out in the recently released Finch Report.

Russia's Skolkovo Foundation gains access to Elsevier's SciVerse Scopus and SciVal Funding

STM publisher Elsevier has reached an agreement with Russia's Skolkovo Foundation, providing access to SciVerse Scopus and SciVal Funding. Skolkovo aims to strengthen the links between Russian and international science, technology, education, entrepreneurship and investment communities.

IMA, Wiley in strategic partnership to offer CMA exam prep products

John Wiley & Sons, Inc. and IMA have announced a strategic partnership involving co-branding, distribution, product enhancements, and innovation for IMA's CMA (Certified Management Accountant) Learning System (CMA LS) exam prep suite of products. Wiley will commence sales of the CMA LS suite of products later this year.

De Gruyter and the International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry announce publishing partnership

The International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry (IUPAC) has entered into an exclusive agreement with Germany-based academic publisher De Gruyter. Under the deal, De Gruyter will publish IUPAC's academic journal, Pure and Applied Chemistry, and its news magazine, Chemistry International.

Academic publisher Emerald Group Publishing has announced its participation at the International Association of Chinese Management Research (IACMR) Conference in Hong Kong, from June 20-24, 2012.
