The Federation of American Societies for Experimental Biology and Wiley partner to publish The FASEB Journal

John Wiley and Sons Inc. has announced that, starting in 2020, Wiley will publish The FASEB Journal on behalf of The Federation of American Societies for Experimental Biology (FASEB). The addition of The FASEB Journal to Wiley's portfolio extends the partnership between FASEB and Wiley, which also publishes the open access journal FASEB BioAdvances.

Dr Niklaus J. Grünwald appointed Editor-in-Chief of new journal, CABI Agriculture and Bioscience

Dr Niklaus J. Grünwald has been appointed Editor-in-Chief of the forthcoming CABI Agriculture and Bioscience inter-disciplinary, open access journal due to be launched later this year. Dr Grünwald brings a wealth of experience to the role, with previous experiences as Editor-in-Chief of Phytopathology and as Chair of the Publications Board overseeing a family of journals published by the American Phytopathological Society (APS).

Cambridge University Press reaches Open Access agreement with King Abdullah University of Science and Technology

Academic publisher Cambridge University Press has signed a transformative Open Access agreement with the King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The three-year agreement advances on the traditional journals subscription model, combining reading access and open access publishing under one, centrally-administered agreement. KAUST will have access to a comprehensive package of science and technology journals published by the Press.

Frontiers and the University of Hull form OA publishing agreement

The University of Hull has established an institutional membership agreement for open access publishing with Frontiers. The University of Hull Library supports its researchers in making their research more widely available. As part of this support, the University of Hull has entered an institutional agreement with Frontiers. Under the terms of this agreement, eligible authors from the University of Hull may publish in any Frontiers journal at no cost to them and with a simplified process.
