NIH to host full-day public workshop on using AI and ML to advance biomedical research |
The National Institutes of Health is hosting a full-day public workshop, Harnessing Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning to Advance Biomedical Research. The workshop will feature leading experts from Amazon and IBM, and scientists from the NIH Clinical Center, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Stanford University, and the University of Cincinnati who are employing AI/ML in biomedical research settings. IUCr appoints Mike Glazer as Editor of IUCr Newsletter |
The International Union of Crystallography (IUCr) has appointed Mike Glazer as the Editor of the IUCr Newsletter, which will be relaunched in an entirely electronic format in summer 2018. Mike will be replacing Bill Duax, who retired last year after 25 years at the helm. More
