26,000 ScienceDirect ebook titles now available via OASIS

ProQuest has announced that 26,000 ebook titles on Elsevier's ScienceDirect platform are now available through OASIS®, ProQuest's free web-based system for searching, selecting and ordering print and electronic books - giving its customers an additional way to acquire this sought-after content. With the addition of publisher platforms, OASIS helps libraries simplify their acquisition workflows and offers them more choices for acquiring books.

Oxford University Press to publish American Journal of Health-System Pharmacy

Academic publisher Oxford University Press and the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) have announced their partnership to publish American Journal of Health-System Pharmacy (AJHP), ASHP's peer-reviewed, highly ranked, Journal Citation Reports-indexed journal. CAB Direct and ORCID integrate to help authors identify and claim their publications

CABI has announced that its CAB Direct platform, a gateway to the most thorough and extensive source of reference in the applied life sciences, now supports ORCID, giving authors an easy way to identify and claim their publications. ORCID provides researchers with a personal, persistent identifier or iD, distinguishing each from every other researcher. The ORCID system is used globally and has over five million registered users.

Research4Life partners commit to free and low cost access & training through 2025

The Research4Life partners have agreed to extend their partnership through 2025. Research4Life currently provides over 8,500 institutions in more than 100 developing countries with free or low cost access to peer-reviewed eResources from the world's leading scholarly publishers. The renewed commitment will ensure that nearly 85,000 peer reviewed academic journals, books and databases from some 200 scholarly publishers available through the public-private Research4life partnership will continue to reach research communities in low- and middle-income countries.

The Library of the University of Amsterdam and Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences select Ex Libris Alma platform

Ex Libris®, a proQuest company, has announced that the Library of the University of Amsterdam (Universiteit van Amsterdam, or UvA) and Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences (Hogeschool van Amsterdam, or HvA) have selected the Ex Libris Alma® library services platform.
