SSRN launches Preprints with The Lancet, a new preprint series for sharing early stage health and medical research

Elsevier, the information analytics business specialising in science and health, has announced that SSRN, its preprint server and early stage research platform, has launched the 'Preprints with The Lancet' - a new preprint series for sharing early stage health and medical research. The collaboration brings together SSRN with The Lancet as part of a six-month pilot to assess whether the health and medical community are ready for this form of early research sharing.

American Chemical Society publications continue to demonstrate their global reputation for scientific and editorial excellence

The scholarly journals of the American Chemical Society (ACS) are once again ranked as the most-cited and most-impactful across their respective scientific subject categories, including six core chemistry categories, according to the 2017 Journal Citation Reports (JCR), released on June 26, 2018, by Clarivate Analytics. The rankings highlight the value, quality and global audience appeal of the research published across the Society's preeminent portfolio of peer-reviewed publications.

SAGE Publishing to begin publishing the journal Feminist Review

Academic publisher SAGE Publishing has announced that it will begin publishing the journal Feminist Review from January 2019. Since 1979 Feminist Review has adopted a creative approach to the discipline, addressing the relationship between theory and practice, using the research to push the feminist agenda in new directions and prioritising an intersectional feminist politics.

The Society for Scholarly Publishing (SSP) has received the silver award in Association Media & Publishing's Annual EXCEL Awards, which recognises the best, and the brightest in association media and publishing. Frontiers in Neurology appoints new Specialty Chief Editors for Neurorehabilitation section

Frontiers in Neurology has appointed Professor Giorgio Sandrini, Professor Volker Hömberg and Professor Ross Zafonte as Specialty Chief Editors of the new Neurorehabilitation section, developed in partnership with the European Federation of Neurorehabilitation Societies (EFNR). Clinicians now have the ability to create and develop enriched environments for the neurorehabilitation of patients severely affected by stroke, Parkinson disease, multiple sclerosis, neuromuscular disease and brain and spinal cord injury.
