Serials Solutions is now called ProQuest

Products and services from ProQuest's Seattle-based technologies business unit will now carry the ProQuest® brand as the name "Serials Solutions" is retired. The change takes place immediately and customers will see the ProQuest name on business cards, email addresses, product information and in connection with products such as the Summon® discovery service and the new IntotaTM library management service.

Lexicomp Online updated to reflect key concepts from the ACC/AHA Blood Cholesterol Guidelines

Wolters Kluwer Health has announced that Lexicomp® Online, its hospital-wide referential drug information solution, has been updated to reflect key concepts from the recent ACC/AHA Blood Cholesterol Guidelines. The American College of Cardiology/American Heart Association Task Force on Practice Guidelines (ACC/AHA) recently released treatment guidelines for the management of high cholesterol.

London School of Economics and Political Science Library selects Ex Libris' Alma and Primo

Library automation solutions provider Ex Libris Group has announced that the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) Library has selected Ex Libris Alma for next-generation resource management services and Ex Libris Primo for unified resource discovery. Primo and Alma will replace a number of systems, including the Serials Solutions Summon service, the open-source VuFind discovery solution, and the Ex Libris Voyager integrated library system.

Brill becomes first to sign an agreement with French national licensing project ISTEX

Academic publisher Brill is the first to sign an agreement with the French national licensing project ISTEX, making key academic electronic resources available to the French research community. The agreement includes access to Brill's Journal Archives Online, covering over 125,000 journal articles in the humanities, international law and biology.
