DynaMed and Isabel Healthcare expand relationship to create powerful integration of diagnosis and treatment information tools

DynaMed, a clinical reference that seeks to offer timely updates and a strong evidence-based approach, has announced an agreement with Isabel Healthcare, which produces the highly respected differential diagnosis tool Isabel. The integration and the new reselling agreement seamlessly extends evidence-based medicine into diagnosis decision-making.

British Library joins FutureLearn Mooc initiative

The British Library has joined the UK's Mooc platform, FutureLearn Ltd., offering participants of its online courses access to the Library's digitised resources. It will be the first non-university research institution to join the initiative. FutureLearn was launched by the Open University last December.

Cambridge University Press announces Open Access Creative Commons licences for Cambridge Journals

Academic publisher Cambridge University Press has announced that articles in its Open Access journals can be published with a Creative Commons Attribution licence ( 'CC-BY'). This licence allows users and readers to download, read, re-use and re-distribute freely, as long as they acknowledge the original article.

Portland Press and Chinese National Science and Technology Library announce licence agreement

Portland Press Limited, the not-for-profit publishing subsidiary of the Biochemical Society, recently signed an agreement with the Chinese National Science and Technology Library (NSTL) for country-wide online access to journals within their portfolio. Negotiations were facilitated by The Charlesworth Group.

Dr. Leighton Chan and Dr. Allen W. Heinemann named Co-Editors-in-Chief of the Archives of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation
