NISO published Recommended Practice on Reproducibility Badging and Definitions
The National Information Standards Organization (NISO) has announced the publication of its Recommended Practice, RP-31-2021, Reproducibility Badging and Definitions. Developed by the NISO Taxonomy, Definitions, and Recognition Badging Scheme Working Group, the new Recommended Practice provides a set of recognition standards that can be deployed across scholarly publishing outputs to easily recognise and reward the sharing of data and methods.

The University of Southern Indiana partners with TIND and EBSCO Information Services to improve the Library's research experience
TIND and EBSCO Information Services (EBSCO) have announced that the University of Southern Indiana (USI) has selected the TIND Integrated Library System (TIND ILS), migrating from Ex Libris' Voyager system and will also transition its Primo discovery layer to EBSCO Discovery Service™ (EDS). The university will be able to use EDS with TIND ILS for real-time holdings information and integrate with GOBI and Harrassowitz, leveraging the TIND ILS real-time acquisition APIs.

Elsevier and the Royal Danish Library enter into an agreement for reading and open access publishing
Elsevier, a global leader in research publishing and information analytics and the Royal Danish Library have agreed on a four-year contract to support continued reading and open access (OA) publishing for Danish researchers. This is the first time the Danish consortium led by the Royal Danish Library has signed an open access transformative agreement with any publisher and the agreement complements Elsevier's transformative agreements across many European countries.

SPIE announces Read and Publish agreement with the Weizmann Institute of Science
SPIE, the international society for optics and photonics, has announced a Read and Publish agreement with the Weizmann Institute of Science in Israel. The agreement, which began on January 1, adds unlimited, open-access publishing in SPIE journals and proceedings to the SPIE Digital Library subscription. Affiliated authors may publish in SPIE journals with no article-processing fees.
