Elsevier acquires Amirsys, a healthcare information solutions and content for radiology, pathology, and anatomy provider STM publisher Elsevier has announced the acquisition of Amirsys. Focused on visually oriented medical disciplines like radiology, pathology and anatomy, Amirsys' global solutions give healthcare providers the expert information and clinical decision support (CDS) tools to make informed, expert and evidence-based diagnoses. Amirsys also provides learning environments that help those training in these disciplines to sharpen their diagnostic skills and increase their knowledge.
